A Thoughtful, Experienced Approach to Care
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed mental health therapist in Tampa, Florida (LMHC, PhD), my work is grounded in clinical depth, compassion, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, and life transitions with clarity and care.
STORY
My
My path into this work began early.
As a teenager volunteering at a local psychiatric hospital, I saw firsthand how deeply people need to feel seen, heard, and understood. That experience shaped the foundation of my work as a mental health therapist, and continues to guide how I support clients today.
Like many therapists, I’ve always had a natural ability to listen and support others without judgment. Over time, that instinct grew into a lifelong commitment to helping people navigate difficult moments and find a greater sense of clarity and direction in their lives.

After earning my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling, I worked across a range of settings including crisis residential care, community mental health, outpatient services, and private practice.
These experiences gave me a broad clinical understanding of mental health challenges including anxiety, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions.
I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with other evidence-based approaches that support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
While remaining clinically active, I completed my PhD in Counseling and Human Development Services, expanding my work into teaching, supervision, and professional development.
